Abstract

(±)-2 (2 Chlorophenyl) 2 (methylamine)cyclohexanone was resolved with L (+) and D (-) tartaric acid as the resolving agent to give S (+) and R (-) ketamine free base with optic activation,the free base was salified to S (+) ketamine hydrochloride and R (-) ketamine hydrochloride.
