Abstract
Objective:To study the pathological changes of endometrium with menstruation disorder caused by IUD.Methods:Selected 168 patients suffered from menstruation disorder because of IUD.When took out of IUD for the patients, gave them pathological examinations of endometrium. After that,we categorized different pathological changes of endometrium and analyzed relationship between the pathological changes of endometrium and the beginning time or the lasting time of menstruation disorder. Results:Half of the patients(50%) were found pathological changes after menstruation disorder.Endometritis played an important role in the patients with menstruation disorder for half a year and the prevalence of endometrium changes increased siganificantly. The endometrium in proliferative phase or secretory phase was not influenced by the beginning and lasting time of menstruation disorder. Conclusion:The pathological changes of endometrium with menstruation disorder took different types and may be influenced by the changes of endocrine system. The endometrium lesion had an increasing trend if the time of menstruation disorder prolonged. We suggest that the patients suffered from menstruation disorder should pay attention to pathological examinations of endometrium.
