Abstract
A test solid rocket ramjet with central air-inlet mode was designed, and its ignition and combustion performances were examined in the direct-connected test. The reacting flow field of the motor was numerically simulated, and the results were compared with test data. The analysis shows that the new motor structure is practicable.Compared with the low-oxygen boron propellant, the hydrocarbon low-oxygen propellant possesses higher combustion efficiency, but lower power.Numerical calculation model and method are applicable to analyzing reacting flow field of the solid rocket ramjet with central air-inlet mode.
