Abstract
Antibacterial activities of Ficus Carical Leaves against tested bacteria were studied. The results show that Ficus Carical Leaves extracts have excellent antibacterial activity, and the minimal inhibitory concentraction against staphylococcus aureus, bacillus subtilis, micrococcus tetragenus, and proteus vulgaris is 0.025g/mL and that against escherichia coli, erwinia uredovora, botrytis cinerea, and pestalotiopsis mangiferae is 0.050g/mL. Antibacterial constituents were separated by column chromatography with silica gel, whose seperators were isolated, and were identified as bergapten and psoralen by spectral analysis.
