Extraction of Intraocular Foreigr Bodies Associated Vivrectomy

Abstract

Objective To discuss the importance of in-time surgery of mtraocular foreing (IOFBs).Vitrectomy improved cure rate of surgery.Methods 28 case of IOFBs including 19 magnetic and 9 nonmagnetic were analased.Results The IOFBs of 26 cases(92.9%)were extracted by cut of pars plana or the cut of corneae limbus,Post-operate visual acuity was improved in 16 cases (57.1%),not changed in 6 cases,(21.4%),and retinalreatachment in 26 cases(92.9%).Conclusion Vitrectomy technique is indicated in case of IOFBs,with retinal detachement,by removing the foreign body and managing the compilcations at the same operation.
