Abstract
Based on the N-S equation of the compressible viscous fluid and k-e turbulence model, aerodynamic characteristics of the TR train are investigated using the finite volume method. The aerodynamic drag, lift and side forces are calculated at different speeds. Results of this paper provide important aerodynamic data for safety running control of the maglev train.
