Pressure of Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction and China’s Countermeasures

Pressure is analyzed about Chinese’s target on CO2 emissions reduction by 2020, and countermeasures are concluded. There is a lot of pressure on this year, and emissions reduction task is more difficult by 2020. It should be vigorously pursued in addition to various super energy saving measures, and it must be strived to adjust the energy structure, and to enlarge imports of natural gas and oil; and to develop non-fossil energy sources, including nuclear energy, hydropower, biomass, wind and solar power. Urgent task is to draw a complete roadmap of new energy technologies, and as soon as possible to integrate existing resources and streamlining of energy industry investment patterns, and to create the efficient and relaxed environment in which new energy is developing, sustainable development and effective use of energy will support sustainable development of the economy society
