Abstract

What on earth is the aesthetic appearance of A'Q image? Is it a tragedy or comedy? That cannot be decided easily.According to Luxun's definition of tragedy and comedy,we can see in A'Q something precious and something shameful, namely, both valuable and valueless things. From this we have some reasons to say that A'Q image has the aesthetic appearance of both tragedy and comedy and A'Q is a typical combination of both tragedy and comedy.
