Abstract
Through formula deduction and model simulation, the certain function relationship was researched between the seismic reflection coefficient and acoustic impedance change of oil layer. The results show that the amplitude and waveform characters of difference seismic depend on the oil layer acoustic impedance change. If the oil layer acoustic impedance increases, the seismic reflection coefficient of the oil layer boundary increases.Conversely, the seismic reflection coefficient decreases. The tendency of oil layer acoustic impedance controls the velocity of seismic reflection waveform amplitude variation. The amplitude of differential seismic waveform caused by acoustic impedance decrease is greater than the one caused by equivalent acoustic impedance increase. The production data research results verify the reliability of the conclusions.
