Abstract

Based on the virtual target point and the ellipse trajectory theory,a new maneuver method in the free- flight phase is presented.Using this method, the missile only needs once maneuver to succeed to evade the interceptor at the suitability time and the hit probability is not reduced. Moreover, the strength of the control force is free. So,the control force error has no effect on the impact point error. That is important to reduce the impact point error after the missile maneuver.
