Abstract
Objective To study the efficacy and safety of laser in situ undersurface of flap keratomileusis(LASUK)for high myopia. Methods 28 cases(43 eyes)of high myopia with insufficient corneal stroma for LASIK were performed LASUK.Results The corneas were transparent and the flap did not displace at all follow up post-operation.The preoperative mean uncorreted visual acuity(UCVA)was 0.1±0.07.After operation 1,7 day and 1,3 month mean visual acuity increased to 0.68±0.21,0.81±0.23 and 0.87±0.23,0.91±0.24.Mean spherical equivalent refraction and mean cylinder refraction decreased from(-9.83±1.98)DS and(-1.50±1.15)DC before operation to(-0.75±0.71)DS and(-0.52±0.56)DC at last follow up(t=28.31,P0.05;t=5.02,P0.05).After operation,79.07% eyes reached or exceeded their preoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),41.86% eyes were better 1~2 lines and 20.93% eyes were lower 1~2 lines than BCVA.Conclusions Laser in situ undersurface of flap keratomileusis for high myopia is effective and safe,no complications occurred, but further conclusions would be confirmed.
