Abstract
It is analyzed the process of continuous snow,which is combined with pre-systematic snow and cold flow snowfall later,occurred in Yantai,early January,2010,and the data of wind profiler for process analysis,as well.It is concluded that the eastward shift of the Yellow River cyclone and strong cold advection is the main impact factors on causing snowfall.The extend of wind speed does a direct impact on snow.The mechanism and the factors of snow occurred on Yantai,is summaried to further understand the causes of snow in the area,to better serve the community and reduce the loss.
