Abstract
This review contains five parts. The first part is devoted on the preparation of miniemulsion. The second part is concerned with the homogenization of miniemulsion and various kinds of reactors. The third part is a review of the most recent data involving the effects of the use of initiators, surfactants and cosurfactants on miniemulsion polymerization. The forth part deals with the kinetics of miniemulsion polymerization. The characterization of latex is also simply discussed.
