THE EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATION ON THE PLATELETS CHANGES AFTER SPLEEN TRANSPLANTATION AND SPLENECTOMY

[Objective] To investigate the recovery of platelets in spleen transplantation and spleen cell transplantation animal models.[Methods] 36 wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups.Group A was control group and was undergone splenectomy.Group B was underwent spleen transplantation and Group C was underwent spleen cell transplantation.The platelets counts were measured in 1 week,4 week and 8 week after establishing model.[Results] Platelets counts were close to normal level in group A and in group B after splenectomy for 8 weeks(P﹥0.05).Platelets counts in group C were increased gradually after transplantation(P﹤0.05);There was no significantly difference in Platelets counts in the 3 groups and there was no significantly difference after splenectomy for 8 weeks among the 3 groups(P﹤0.05).The A and C groups showed no significant difference in platelet(P﹥0.05).[Conclusion] After splenectomy for 8 weeks after transplantation,platelet recovered to normal,and spleen cell transplantation did not show significant effect on platelets.
