Some Comments on the Indigenization of Sociology in China

Abstract

How to make sociology to be indigenized in China is an essential issue for the sustainable development of Chinese sociology.Generally,it is thought that sociology of western countries plays an important role in the process of the indigenization of Chinese sociology.The author puts forward that the core of the indigenization of sociology in China is to establish the Chinese sociological study model,while sociology of western countries acts as an assistant force.To develop sociology in China,we must draw achievements both at home and abroad.
