Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical features of vivax malaria cases. Methods The clinical menifestations and signs, dagnosis and treatment of 15 vivax malaria cases were retrospectively analyzed. Results Individual differences in the 15 malaria cases in clinical minifestations were observed. Of the 15 cases 12 were infected in malaria endemic areas, 3 in malaria free areas, 10 with typical malaria symptoms and 5 with typical symptoms. All of them were cured after treatment. Conclusion Clinical physicians should pay attention to the fact that sporadic malaria occurred in areas prevalent with vivax malaria and a few of them showing typical symptoms.
