Abstract
On the basis of tube reactor experimental data analysis, a simplified model of the complex reaction system of toluene disproportionation and C 9 aromatics transalkylation was obtained The simplified reaction model includes three main reactions, which are toluene disproportionation, transalkylation of toluene and trimethylbenzene and hydrodealkylation of methylethylbenzene, and three secondary reactions, which are trimethylbenzene disproportionation, transalkylation of toluene and methylethylbenzene and hydrodealkylation of ethylbenzene The corresponding kinetics equations of this reaction system were proposed through parameter estimation The experimental data and shape selectivity of β zeolite were discussed on the basis of isomer composition of reaction products
