Abstract
In the 300 years of Qing dynasty,there generated many Manchu pedigrees.Besides a small part which was preserved in formal organs such as archives and libraries,most was scattered in folk collecting places.And most of these folk pedigrees was moist and went moldy in the concealment of the collection places due to long time and not taking any protection measure,some words diffused and were lost.As an important component of Manchu traditional culture,pedigree bore lots of historical data,it offers raw materials for research of Manchu society,language and culture,etc.,as well a reference to the research of Qing history.Therefore,it is necessary to make in-depth investigation and research on Manchu folk pedigree in Heilongjiang Province.
