Abstract
Objective:To expolre an effective clinical method in prevention of subcutaneous fluid in breast cancer patients after modified radical mastectomy. Methods: Total of 72 patients were divided into 3 groups: control group, chest compression bandaging group and combination of chest compression bandaging and medical fibrin glue group.Every group contained 24 cases. The difference of quantity of subcutaneous drainage solution, average duration with subcutaneous drainage-tube and incidence rate of subcutaneous fluid were analysed. Results: Compared with control group and chest compression bandaging group, the combination group had more advantages in all aspects: the quantity of subcutaneous drainage solution was least(P0.05),the average duration with subcutaneous drainage-tube was minimum(P0.05) and the incidence rate of subcutaneous fluid was lowest(P0.05).Conclusion: The combination of chest compression bandaging and medical fibrin glue is an effective clinical method in prevention of subcutaneous fluid in breast cancer patients after modified radical mastectomy.
