Abstract
This paper describes the design of application software base on the hardware construction of RS232-RS485 converter which consist of double RAM IDT7134.PC and multi-microcomputer connects with this converter can communicate flexibly with each other using it's programmable feature.Moreover,This paper gives an anti-interfere and high reliability RS485 communication net through MAX1480B.The converter and communication net have been used in small hydro-power dispatch automation and communication system developed by northeast institute of electric power engineering.The good results are achieved.
