68 Cases of Adverse Reactions Caused by Topical Glucocorticoid Application in Psoriasis

Objective To reduce a variety of adverse reactions caused by corticosteroid preparations external used on psoriasis patients,to discuss its mechanism and treatment.Methods Discuss all kinds of adverse reactions of corticosteroid external use on 68 cases of psoriasis patients and the occurrence of adverse reactions;In thetreatment 68 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,the treatment group used tacalcitol ointment instead of glucocorticoid preparations,topical,once daily,continuous use for 6 weeks,Control group gradually reduce the frequency of use of mometasone furoate cream,until out of the way.The rest treatments were all the same. Results At the end of treatment,the total effective rate was 75.76% in the control group,while at the end of treatment it was 48.57% in the control group.The difference was significant(P0.05). Conclusion Topical steroid preparations should be strict controlled for psoriasis indication to avoid the occurrence of hormonal side effects.Mometasone furoate cream can also treat a variety of adverse reactions while treating psoriasis.
