Abstract
The principle and process characteristics about tungsten inert gas arc remelting were summarized,the effects of tungsten inert gas arc remelting on coating properties of cast iron,steel and aluminum alloy were introduced,and the effects of TIG remelting on welding joint were described.What's more,applications about tungsten inert gas arc remelting in train wagon bogie and cavitation resistant material were introduced systematically.At last,the current issues of tungsten inert gas arc remelting technology were pointed out,in order to promote the further development of the technology and guide practical application.
