MR Diagnosis of Protrusion of Lumbar Intervertebral Disk in Children

Abstract
Purpose:To explore the MR feature of protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disk in Chilren.Material and Methods:Clinical findings and MR manifestations of 14 children with protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disk were restrospectively analysed.Results:18 lumbar lntervertebral disk is protrued in all the cases,8 is protrusion of L 4-5 intervertebral disk,6 is protrusion of L 5-S 1,2is protrusion of both L 4-5 and L 5-S 1.Conclusion:MR is important to the diagnosis of protrusion of lumbar lntervertebral disk in children and can clearly display alteration of intervertebral disk and following signs.
