Abstract
The effect of the quenching tempering technological parameter on microstruc ture and mechanical properties of 590 MPa high strength thick steel plate which is used for engineering machinery has been studied According to the analysis of relationship of microstructure and properties of plate in the different quenching and tempering temperature conditions,it is found that the fine tempering sorbite and the strength and ductility,which are in accord with the standard requirement,of the steel plate have been obtained in condition of 920 ℃ quenching temperature and 580 ℃ tempering temperature
