Abstract
This paper discusses the performance of the iSCSI protocol by analyzing the procedure of iSCSI protocol processing. We split the procedure into several parts, and explore the effect of each part that they have on the performance of iSCSI. Then we discuss the influence of the iSCSI queue on the iSCSI performance. Some advices are proposed to optimize the performance of iSCSI.
