Abstract

OpenGL is the most widely used three-dimensional figure application program base at present with excellent property. Aimed at the 3D visualization of Geographic Information district, this paper discusses its method of realization. It emphasizes discussing the base of 3D district visualization-obtaining data and how to make 3D graphical program using VB combined with OpenGL. Finally through an example, it shows the reference value for 3D visualization.
