Educational Leadership of the Education Bureau Directors & Its Promotion Strategies

Education bureau directors are basic leaders group in our educational executive management system,which behavior directly influences development of area education.Based on Contingency Theory of Leadership,leadership has relationship with situations directly.For education bureau directors work in education bureau,government and school systems,so the leadership structure of education bureau directors has three dimensions: managerial leadership,political leadership and educational leadership.Accordingly,education bureau directors want to improve their leadership,could follow these three strategies: learning how to lead their leaders,understanding education organizational characteristics,and developing organizational culture.
