Abstract
A catalytic wet air oxidation technology was used to treat high concentration organic wastewater from the production of hexythiazox with CuO-MnO2-La2O3 as catalyst. The results showed that, the said complex catalyst displayed relatively high catalytic activity when treating this kind of organic wastewater.Under the condition that the temperature was 230 ℃,the oxygen partial pressure was 2.5 MPa and the pH value was 7.3,when the mass concentration of CODCr was 15 730 mg/L,96.1% of the CODCr could be removed from the wastewater in 120 min, while the removal rate of CODCr by WAO without adding the catalyst was only 50.3% under the same condition.
