On the Dedication of Yuan hongdao's Poetic Prose to the Literary Development of Late Ming Dynasty

The creation poetic prose of the Ming Dynasty was shown a character of the fight between following ancients and anti-following ancients,So people showed little appreciation on their arts and achievements of poetic prose of this period.But Yuan Hongdao,who pointed at all sorts of disadvantages in literary circles of his time,hold the side of anti-following ancients,combined with the reality of his time,broke through all kinds of shackles,hold high the banner of innovation,created works which criticized severely the chronic illnesses of traditional culture,played a good role in arousing the consciousness of crisis of literati and was also important to promote the development of literature of later Ming Dynasty.
