Abstract

The basic idea and the concrete process are introduced about the creation of cutting traces for the producing gear in a skew bevel gear pair,and the obtainment of its NC codes in the environment of UG.The above gear is successfully machined with a 4 axis machining center on this basis.The work done provides helpful reference for the digital machining of this kind of gears.
