An Analysis of the Climatic Change in the Bortala Region in the Last 48 Years

Abstract

Based on the climatological data between 1961 and 2008 from four meteorological stations in Bortala region,the fundamental change characteristics of various climatic elements were analyzed by using linear regression,wavelet analysis and abrupt in the Botala region in the last 48 years.Main results are as follows:1)The annual mean temperature and precipitation are increasing,but the annual sunshine hours and wind speed are decreasing;2)Correlation analysis show that there are significant positive correlation between potential evapotranspiration and the annual average temperature,annual sunshine hour and average wind speed,and there are significant negative correlations between potential evapotranspiration and annual rainfall.In the comprehensive influence of climatic factors,the potential evapotranspiration are significantly decreasing and surface humidity index are increasing;3)The annual mean temperature,precipitation and surface humidity index had the discontinuity ascension in 1972 and 1971,the hours of sunshine,average wind speed and the annual potential evapotranspiration had discontinuity reducing in 1979,1970 and 1978 respectively.To sum up,the sudden change characteristic of temperature,precipitation and surface humidity index,the climate in the Bortala region occurred the sudden change ofwarm-wet in 1971-1972;4)Various climatic element had the cyclical change of the different time criterion respectively.
