Abstract

Objective To optimize the extraction condition of polyphenols from banana peel.Methods The effects of concentration of ethanol,extraction temperature,time,ratio of solvent to raw material,extraction frequency on the extraction of polyphenols from banana peel were studied.The extraction condition was optimized by orthogonal experiment.Results The extraction effect of ethanol-water solution was fairly perfect in the extraction of polyphenols from banana peel.Conclusion The best extraction condition can be obtained as follows: 80 % ethanol solution,80 ℃,3 hours each time,totally 2 times.
