Abstract
[Objective] To observe the effect of decoction in treating patients with post -stroke depression (PSD).[Methods] 60 patients with PSD were randomly assigned into treatment and control groups (each n =30)for 30d.Treatment with Diankuangmengxing decoction,Controls were treated with Jieyu pills.Treatment efficacy was evaluated with hamilton depression Scale(HAMD).[Results] At 30d,the total efficacy rate were 60 % in treatment group and 83.3 % in controls. The score evaluated with hamilton depression Scale (HAMD)of the treatment and control groups both reduce remarkably(P 0.01),especially the treatment groups(0.05).[Conclusion] The effect of decoction in treating patients with post -stroke depression (PSD) is more remarkable.
