Abstract

Objective To explore the influence of cadmium on the cytotoxicity in human proximal tubular epithelial cell. Methods The cells were divided into control group and experiment group. The cell death rate was counted.Cytotoxicity of Cadmium on HK-2 cells was determined by cell growth curves. The lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and malondialdehyde(MDA)were measured by spectrophotometer. Results Results showed that with the increase of cadmium chloride dosage, the cell death rate、the level of LDH and MDA increased, there were statistic significance(P0.05).The correlation analysis between the toxic dosage were 0.858、0.878 and 0.931 respectively, and had obvious relevance(P0.01).Conclusions Cadmium could induce cytotoxicity in human proximal tubular epithelial cell.
