Studies on the Plant Communities in Mountainous Area in Southern Hebei Province

The mountainous area belonging to the southern section of Mountain Taihang ranges,is located in the southwest of Hebei province,where the regional characteristic vegetation is deciduous broad-leaved forest,including 5 vegetation types and 29 formations,whose community structure and composition has the feature of warm temperate zone vegetation,and has representativeness to some extent in Mountain Taihang.According to investigation about sample square,there are 178 species of wild plants,belonging to 47 families and 126 genera in this flora of main vegetation type.Analysis on flora component,indicates that this region has obvious temperate zone characters,and the distribution of species endemic to China,Eastern Asia and Temp.Asia plays a great role in vegetation composition,commutity structure and character formation,and life form of the vegetation in this region is composed of hemicryptophytes mainly and relatively few phanerophytes.
