Abstract
Akesayi area is located in the central section of the southern edge of Altun. It undergone NE-SW rifting in Early Paleozoic Era, with basic and ultrabasic rocks intruded. Along the Southern Altyn Margin Fault, the magmatic differentiation and liquation of basic and ultrabasic rocks lay a foundation of the polymetallic mineralization in Akesayi area. Hercynian-indosinian magmatic activity, together with the regional sliping and thrusting since Later Paleozoic Era, prompt the activation, transfer and enrichment of minerization elements and the mineralization of Cu, Au, Pt and Pd.
