Abstract

Poyang Lake,the biggest freshwater lake in China,is one of the areas with the richest plant resources and vegetation types in the wetland ecosystem of China.Based on investigating the surrounding vegetation of Poyang Lake,the species composition of plants in Poyang Lake and the vegetation types and distribution were systemically reported.According to the ecological environment and community characteristics,they could be divided into more than 60 formations,4 types of aquatic community,marsh,meadow and sandbank.The current utilization situations of plants in Poyang Lake were discussed.
