Abstract

Minimizing system cost while maximizing system utility is always the key objective of inventory model researches.Taking consideration of the reality of the repairable spare parts support system of the Chinese military forces, the paper studies the physical flow of a spare parts multi-echelon inventory layout and, with minimal expected shortage estimation as the constraint in the optimization of repairable spare parts allocation, establishes a multi-echelon inventory model of repairable spare parts lateral supply chains which is then simulated in a subsequent experiment using inventory optimization algorithm.
