Discussion on the Virtue in The Book of Songs

Abstract

The Book of Songs,the earliest collection of poems in China,is the artistic and realistic record of the ethical life of the people in Zhou Dynasty,which contains the original thinking of the concept of of the people at that time. This paper attempts to explain the virtue in The Book of Songs and mainly discuss the virtue of queens,monarchs and subjects,husbands and wife,and brotherhood. Besides,it also touches on the manifestation of in The Book of Songs.
