Abstract
Gu Qingsheng's Novella Ancient Roadway is a representative work of Huangshi mining literature.The most important artistic features of this writing lie in its abundant mystical descriptions,such as descriptions on mystical natural environment,narrations on mystical phenomena and revelations on mystical consciousness. This kind of mystical descriptions are mainly influenced by rising and resuscitating mystical culture in literary world at that time,they have something to do with Gu Qingsheng's experiences. Our writer stresses main theme of this work by them,which makes readers obtain some kind of unique aesthetic emotion and life inspiration.
