Abstract
Six novel curcumin analoges were synthesized by condensation reaction of substituted benzaldehyde with cyclopentanone or cyclohexanone at room temperature using diluted alkalis as the catalyst. The structures were characterized by1 H NMR,IR,MS and elemental analysis.
