Abstract
The direct torque control(DTC) system of the traditional induction motor has many disadvantages, such as the big ripple of torque. In order to improve the dynamic performance of the DTC system of the induction motor, the modeling and simulation were used in the DTC control system.By adopting the improved model of the torque estimation, the simulation model of the control system and the induction motor was established using MATLAB/SIMULINK software package. This new model of the torque estimation was constructed which can be applied to the control system. The simulation and experimental results have shown that the dynamic performance of the DTC control system for induction motor is enhanced by the improved model of the torque estimation.
