Abstract

Objective: To develop an instrument that be applied to evaluate students' cardiopulmonary function,and the test accuracy,safety and credibility of the instrument.Methods: Selecting 61 Beijing Normal University students(33 boys and 28 girls) randomly as subjects,using the oxygen uptake assessment instrument developed by laboratory and Cortex Metalyzer 3B instrument to test the maximum oxygen uptake,and take the male 1 000 m and female 800 m running test.Results: The result of direct VO2 max and indirect VO2 max using oxygen uptake assessment instrument have no obvious difference with direct VO2 max test(P 0.05),the results of male 1 000 m and female 800 m running test has the negative correlation with direct VO2 maxand indirect VO2 max,and the correlation coefficient is low(r 0.43),and rating of perceived exertion test result of male 1 000 m and female 800 m test is higher than stairs experiment(P 0.01).Conclusion: Male 1 000 m and female 800 m to evaluate cardiopulmonary function is lack of scientific;The result of VO2 max instrument is more accurate,moderate,and secure,it can be applied to the scale of the students physique assessment in great scale.
