Payment Policy of Central Bank:Target,Means and Effect——Research on Payment Policy Application of the People's Bank of China

Payment policies,the important component of policy system of central banks,are usually used by central banks that take the responsibilities for national payment systems.Establishing an effective and safe payment system is key goal of payment policy of central banks.This paper has analyzed impacts on some central banks' payment policies on efficiency and safety of systemically important payment system——RTGS.Based on development of financial infrastructure and financial markets,The People's Bank of China applies payment policy to enhance the efficiency and safety of national payment system,which has produced active effect.This paper has also raised proposals on the improvement of payment policy system of central bank in China.
