Abstract
Objective To study the eradication rates of Helicobacter Pylori (H.pylori) by different lansoprazole-based triple therapy.Methods Seventy-six subjects with positive gastritis or peptic ulcer were randomly assigned to two groups: 38 subjects received 30 mg lansoprazole twice daily,250 mg clarithromycin twice daily and 1000 mg amoxicillin twice daily (LCA group);38 subjects received 30 mg lansoprazole twice daily,250 mg clarithromycin twice daily and 400mg metronidazole thrice daily (LCM group) for 1 week.Subjects were screened by rapid urease test、14C-urea breath test and histology test before treatment.H.pylori status was assessed by 14C-urea breath test 4 weeks later after antibiotic treatment.Results 31 subjects in LCA group and 35 subjects in LCM group had finished the test.H.pylori was eradicated in 26 subjects in LCA group and 21 subjects in LCM group,respectively.The eradication rates (83.87%) in LCA group were significantly higher than that(60.00%) in LCM group(P0.05);there was no significant difference on side effect between both groups(P0.05).The resistant rate of metronidazole,clarithromycin and amoxicillin was 92%,28%,0%,respectively.Conclusions ①The H.pylori eradication rates in LCA group were higher than that in LCM group;②The highest rates of drug resistance was metronidazole(92%);the next was Clarithromycin(28%);and no case of amoxicillin resistance was found.
