At the beginning stage of China’s democratic construction,the theory of Western consultative democracy spread to China,and many scholars were unavoidably affected,linking this theory to China’s political consultation system.The premise that people’s democracy is the life of socialism consultative democracy actually makes clear that socialism consultative democracy and Western consultative democracy are totally different types of democracy, and makes clear the relationship between socialism consultative democracy and people’s democracy:people’s democracy is the essential part and goal of socialism consultative democracy,while the development of socialism consultative democracy provides strong energy for the development of people’s democracy.
