Abstract
The importance of academic freedom for the development of profound knowledge has been the general consensus in the the education circles.However,the importance of academic freedom,the theoretical basis of academic freedom is not self-evident.In order to avoid the suspicion,misunderstanding of the academic freedom,we no doubt expounded these from the theory.Based on this,the article deeply analyzed the concept of academic freedom,the theoretical basis and the guarantee of freedom.
