Breeding and Application of Super Hybrid Rice Teyouhang No.1

Abstract

Through hybridization between good quality three-line male sterile line Longtepu A and restoring line Hang No.1,a new super hybrid rice combination Teyouhang No.1 has been bred by Rice Research Institute,Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.This hybrid rice combination has the characteristics of high and stable yield as well as wide adaptability in the regional test.The breeding process,main characteristics and techniques of high-yielding cultivation and seed production of Teyouhang No.1 were introduced in this paper.
