Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of the phacoemulsification, intraocular lens implantation joint with trabeculectomy surgery for cataract and glaucoma. Methods: 100 cases of patients diagnosed with cataract and glaucoma to stay in our hospital during 2007.08~2012.08 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each group was 50 cases. The control group received the phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation, and the observation group were accepted the trabeculectomy for treatment on basis of the control group.Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, central room before depth, angle open state change vision and incidence of complications were compared before and after treatment between the two groups.Results:(1) The visual acuity of one week, one month and three months were all higher than that before treatment in the control group, and there was a statistical difference of the visual acuity after one month and three months in comparison with preoperative treatment(P 0.05).The visual acuity of one week, one month and three months were all higher than that before treatment in the observation group, and there was a significantly statistical difference of the visual acuity after one week, one month and three months in comparison with preoperative treatment(P 0.01).And there was a statistical difference in postoperative treatment between the two groups(P 0.05).(2) There was a statistical difference of the intraocular pressure, changes in the angle open state, the central anterior chamber depth and vision differences in the two groups before and after treatment(P 0.05,P 0.01),and there was a statistical difference in postoperative treatment between the two groups(P 0.05).(3) The rate of complications in the control group was 22.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the observation group(8.00%),and there was a significantly statistical difference between the two groups(P 0.01).Conclusion: Phacoemulsification, intraocular lens implantation joint with trabeculectomy for treatment of cataract and glaucoma, has a significantly clinical effect,a rapid postoperative recovery,a low complication rate, and it should be promoted and applied in clinical practice.
