Abstract
Tessier method of extracting substance successively was applied to determine the concentrations of heavy metals—Cu,Zn,Pb and Cd. Environmental significance of the heavy metals in the soil were discussed. Results showed that the heavy metals in the soil mainly existed in the forms of Fe-Mn Oxide, organic combination, and residual. Cu and Pb were mainly in Fe-Mn Oxide, organic combination, and residual forms;Cd and Zn were mainly in the states of organic combination and residual;the exchange state and carbonate take up a relatively large proportion for Zn,which was 24%,therefore,it exhibits both biological availability and potential ecological risks to some extent. The order of biological availability and potential ecological risks of the heavy metals is ZnCdCuPb.
